Born in Bedfordshire in 1963, Robert Walker is a British artist whose still-life practice is rooted in the classical traditions of European art and refined through a contemporary lens. Entirely self-taught, he developed his technical mastery through years of disciplined study, beginning with copying the works of old masters such as Rembrandt, Canaletto and Turner.
