Beer was once famous for smuggling and was very reliant on fishing for many years. In this limited edition print Stephen has captured a summer''s day with one of the few remaining mackerel boats pulled up onto the shingle beach. The cove is a natural suntrap sheltered from the prevailing westerly winds and set against the chalk cliffs.
