of Art. After graduating Paul Robinson moved to London he began a successful career as a freelance illustrator, working for many leading publications such as the Sunday Times and Radio Times.
Robinson's paintings have a distinct style, inspired by an endless fascination of observing the everyday activities of people. Subjects for Robinson's limited edition prints are typically humourous figures captured in a passing moment of time. The subjects unaware they have just inspired another of Paul's art prints.
As is common in ancient mythology, there are various interpretations and versions of the Narcissus myth, with the canonical version revolving around a youth being made to fall in love with his reflection after spurning a would-be lover. Paul Robinson's 'Narcissus' has rather more humour with both the figure and the dog being consumed with their own reflection in the pools of water.
