Sails flap and water ripples and reflects as, using the organic colours of rock pools and heather, David Smith captures small details of life on the East coast of Scotland.
David Smith has been the recipient of a number of art awards including the prestigious David Cargill prize at the 2001 RGI art exhibition. He is a member and current President of the Glasgow Group of Artists.
David Smith contemporary paintings are now in many private art collections. His art works are also in collections of the Glasgow Caledonian University and House of Lords, London.
