and viewpoint. Subjects are sometimes dislocated from their surroundings or hover lending an air of mystery. There is a three-dimensional dream-like quality to his contemporary art. Painting with acrylic on board David overlays this with a light oil glaze to enhance depth and colours.

The River in Autumn' is a carefully composed mixed media painting. The figure of the cyclist is framed by symmetrical trees and given the backdrop of an idealised white house. The cyclist is separated from the house by a fast flowing river. While the river appears real and seems to anchor the scene in reality, the house and all that is on the other side of the river gives the painting a dislocated and other-worldly feel. The painting is full of quirky detail and has an individual style and surreal quality.

As well as exhibiting at Red Rag Gallery David Eustace contemporary paintings are exhibited in many Devon Art Galleries and Cornwall Art Galleries as well as London Art Galleries and abroad. Exhibitions include several appearances at the Royal Academy summer exhibition.

Each painting at Red Rag is sourced from the David Eustace artist studio and like all Red Rag British art and Contemporary art it can be shipped worldwide.
