Artist Norman Smith was born in 1949 and studied Art and design at Bristol before qualifying as a teacher. He has spent time working and travelling extensively in India and the Far East. In 1987 Norman Smith returned to England and has been painting as a professional artist since then.
Norman Smith is a member of the Pastel Society and regularly exhibits at The Mall Art Galleries. He is best known as a pastel artist although he is increasingly recognized for highly coloured and sought after Limited Edition Prints
