Later Mallett studied history of art as part of his degree at Warwick University.
Timmy Mallet takes his inspiration from the British countryside, and from trips all over the world. Famous for his wacky glasses and bright shirts, it is not a surprise Timmy is inspired by colours. His many and varied paintings and limited edition prints glow with colour.
Timmy Mallet says: "I love colourful paintings and just seeing colour. You can see colour in the seasons, even on a snowy, grey day I can see colour and moods. I used to take paints on filming trips. Now I'm painting more seriously and I often paint in my studio at home most afternoons.'
