Timmy Mallett is known as a TV and entertainment personality, but he is also an accomplished painter. His love for painting came at an early age when his dad, also a keen painter, would encourage him. Later Mallett studied history of art as part of his degree at Warwick University.

Timmy Mallet says: "I love colourful paintings and just seeing colour. You can see colour in the seasons, even on a snowy, grey day I can see colour and moods. I used to take paints on filming trips. Now I'm painting more seriously and I often paint in my studio at home most afternoons.”
