Since leaving school and representing Britain in junior horse eventing, Kate Fensom has undertakenmany things, including working as a care assistant, a building labourer and a factory worker, as well as a singer and song-writer in a band.

After gaining a sociology degree from Sussex University Kate Fensom went to Northern Cyprus. What started as a three week holiday turned into a pivotal moment in Kate's life. She returned to England with the ambition of becoming an artist. Returning to the country that had fired her imagination Kate Fensom began to paint, inspired by the magic of the Mediterranean, by 2002 she had enough paintings to hold her first art exhibition in Kyrenia.

On her return to England Kate Sansom exhibited her art work to great success and now has paintings and limited edition prints in a number of British art galleries.
