Sue Campion was born in London in 1944. She studied as a display artist in the early sixties before leaving England to live in Spain and the USA.
After returning to England Sue Campion established Read more
her own art gallery. She then went on to gain a BA (hons) in Fine Art Nottingham Trent University in the 1980's.
Sue Campion has had many solo and group art shows throughout the UK. Her art works feature in Rowleys House Museum and the Courtauld Institute. Sue was appointed as a member of the Royal Society of British Artists in 2007.
Sue Campion paintings and limited edition prints are primarily inspired by the Shropshire landscape and the vistas of Spain and Italy. She is very much a colourist creating paintings in oil and pastels combining rich colours with a strong sense of pattern and design.
