March: New Limited Edition Print artist Frank Phillips

Latest print news: Limited Edition Prints from British artist Frank Phillips are now available from Red Rag Gallery. Phillips spent his early career in publishing, notably as an in house and freelance book designer. During his professional life Frank worked for Readers` Digest books, Ebury Press and finally BBC Worldwide where he was Creative Director of BBC Books. Retiring early he has realised a long held ambition to work as a painter, and has now become established as a water colourist. His principal inspiration has been the ancient and mixed landscapes of the Perigord Vert area of France and the rugged coast and undulating landscapes of Cornwall.

Frank Phillips limited edition prints and paintings are shown throughout the UK and France. His paintings and limited edition prints are are in private art collections through out the world and his limited edition prints have been published in the UK and Japan whilst many of his paintings have been published as greeting cards.

February: New Limited Edition Print artist Paul Evans

Red Rag have announced that art works from leading landscape artist Paul Evans are now part of the Limited Edition Print range. Paul studied illustration and Printmaking at Eastbourne College of Art and Design. Today he is widely known for his highly prints inspired by East Anglia's landscape and coast, Sussex Downland, The Kent Weald and Cornwall's rugged coast and moorland.

January: New Limited Edition Print artist Francis Farmar

Latest print news: Limited Edition Prints from British artist Francis Farmar are now available from Red Rag Gallery. Farmar who was born in Sury in 1948 produces of a wide variety of subjects including: rural, urban and maritime - British or overseas. For each print he tries to encapsulate the spirit of his subject giving a contemporary twist to 'prospect' pictures appearing to fly above the landscape.

There is a quirky, dreamlike quality to many of the limited edition prints created by Francis. Typically his prints feature strong and detailed imagery with bold, vibrant colours which are beautifully drawn and highly imaginative. Francis Farmar has exhibited regularly in major British art galleries and internationally.

December: New Limited Edition Print artist Georgina McMaster

Latest Print news: Georgina McMaster is one of Scotland's most exciting contemporary artists. Her work and limited edition prints todate has been mainly based on animals - and particular Scottish wildlife. Her prints explore aspects of our natural environment and specifically the animals around us. In using a largely blank background in her limited edition prints, she makes the animal the prominent significant subject and she uses careful compositional techniques to give and bring out the animal's personality and character.

Georgina McMaster is an elected artist member of the Glasgow Art Club. She is the recipient of numerous art awards including the David Cargill Award in 2008 at the prestigious Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts. Her paintings and limited edition prints are now widely exhibited throughout the UK.

November: New Limited Edition Print artist Richard Thorn

The latest British artist to join the impressive Red Rag print range is Richard Thorn. Born in 1952 Richard studied art at the Newton Abbot School of Art. He began painting professionally in the early 1980’s and creates wonderful art works of the West Country. He has produced many fine paintings and limited edition prints of the picturesque landscapes and coastline of Devon and Cornwall. He is drawn to the intensely bright and suffuse light, plus the myriad variations in the coastal and inland landscape of these counties.

Richard Thorn creates limited edition prints and art prints of spontaneous, striking blasts of tone and colour. His limited eidtion prints capture the warmth of the sun and the majesty of the ocean and landscape. The sea figured prominently in his young life and continues to be a constant source of subject matter.

October: New Limited Edition Print artist Stephanie Rew

Since leaving Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in the mid 1990's British artist Stephanie Rew has established a strong reputation for producing captivating paintings of the female form. Her work is heavily influenced by the Baroque style and Stephanie combines Old Masters techniques with her own alla prima approach to painting. Caravaggio’s trademark use of chiaroscuro and strong colour created by glazing techniques has also inspired her work for the last decade.

Stephanie Rew art works are held in a number of private and corporate art collections. Todate her work has only been available as original paintings, but now Red Rag is making available three new limited edition prints from Stephanie featuring her trademark images of women wearing kimonos. Demand for these new striking art prints is expected to be high with supply being limited to just 95 for each edition. Red Rag are now taking orders for the prints for delivery later this month.

August: New Limited Edition Prints from John Knapp Fisher

Three brand new limited editions from leading Welsh artist John Knapp-Fisher have just been released as part of his 80th Birthday celebrations! John Knapp- Fisher was born in 1931. He is the son of a well known and respected artist and studied graphic design at Maidstone College of Art. He moved to Wales in 1965. Since then he has become one of the foremost landscape Welsh artists with a worldwide following of art lovers. His paintings and limited edition prints typically capture the majesty and ruggedness of the Pembrokeshire coastal area. The quintessential John Knapp-Fisher painting or limited edition print is a Pembrokeshire cottage, farm, or church appearing luminously against a dark landscape, but it is the quality of light in his art works which is so apparent and recognisable.

July: New Limited Edition Print artist Robina Yasmin

Latest news: Artist Robina Yasmin is known for her highly collectable original paintings. Now Red Rag is making Robina's art work more available in a series of high quality limited edition prints. Robina is a superb wildlife artist and a real enthusiast in capturing the beauty of zebras and giraffes.

Robina is a graduate of Glasgow School of Art and a past finalist in the Hunting Art Prizes at the Royal College of Art and at the Discerning Eye at the Mall Galleries, London. Her paintings have also been shown at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in London. She has produced eight striking limited edition prints which of enduring quality each displaying a great sense of sensitivity and technique.

June: New Limited Edition Prints from Alan Tyers

Red Rag have released four new limited edition prints from Alan Tyers. This is the first time that Alan Tyers art work has been produced as limited edition prints. The new limited edition prints feature scenes of Bath and Padstow. Tyer's distinctive art style inspired by British railway poster art of the 1930's is now much sought after. Each print edition is limited to 95 prints and is now available from the gallery.

May: New Limited Edition Prints from Andrew Macara RBA

Latest news from Red Rag is that three new limited edition prints from Andrew Macara have been released. The new prints feature two engaging Winter scenes and one of Macara's popular British beach scenes. Each print edition is limited to 95 prints and is now available from the gallery.

Andrew Macara is one of the most collectible British artists whose distinctive style has brought him considerable success. April: New Limited Edition print artist at Red Rag

Red Rag have announced that the limited edition prints of leading Welsh artist Ceri Auckland-Davies have been added to the portfolio of art prints. Ceri Auckland Davies was born in 1951 and studied art at Dyfed and Newport Colleges of Art. His limited edition prints capture the majesty of wild and lonely places, often by the water of the Welsh coastline. Ceri is especially known for his depiction of water, which appears to have genuine depth and transparency.

March: Anna Pugh at Red Rag Gallery

February: Jack Vettriano prints raise money for Charity

Over £80000 was raised for four charities when Jack Vettriano famed for his 'Singing Butler' painting and limited edition prints sold a painting at auction in Scotland in February. The Vettriano art work, Let's Twist Again, captures a man and a woman dancing and was used on Scottish First Minister Alex Salmond's Christmas card last year.

Money from the charity auction will be donated to the Bethany Christian Trust, Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres, Quarriers and Teenage Cancer Trust. Jack Vettriano said: "I'm really pleased that Let's Twist Again has achieved such a positive result for the four charities. It has been a privilege to be involved with such worthwhile causes."

January: Anne Magill at Red Rag Gallery

The latest artist to feature in Red Rag's Limited Edition print range is Anne Magill. Anne's art works are in Corporate Collections such as British Airways, Nike and Levi Strauss plus selected Private Collections including an astonishing list of Hollywood stars, directors and producers including Nicole Kidman - Russell Crowe - Josephine Hart.

Magill's images always facinate the viewer. The narrative compositions draw the viewer to speculatie on the possible relationships observed in the art works. December: Red Rag expands Sasha Harding Print range

Red Rag has announced an expansion of its range of Limited Edition Prints and Art Prints from successful British artist Sasha Harding.

There are now nine Sasha Harding art prints available from Red Rag Gallery. All are high quality Giclee prints presented in substantial mount boards. November: Sue Macartney Snape at Red Rag Gallery

Red Rag Gallery has announced that Sue Macartney-Snape Limited Edition prints are now available from the gallery. The award winning artist and illustrator of the ‘Social Stereotypes’ column in the Saturday Telegraph is the latest name to join the Red Rag art print catalogue. Sue has a reputation as the finest in her field and her limited edition prints sell worldwide. She has been acclaimed as ‘the Wodehouse of art’.

October: New release of Prints from Iain Faulkner

Demand for limited edition prints from Iain Faulkner is always high. Many of his art prints have now SOLD OUT which means some collectors are now paying hefty premiums in the ‘after market’ to acquire particular prints. It is therefore good news that this October three new Iain Faulkner limited edition prints have been released. The three new titles are Poker Night; The 19th and Final Viewing.

Born in Glasgow in 1973, Iain Faulkner graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 1996. Throughout his career Faulkner has chosen to concentrate on figurative painting. His draughtsman ship and painterly skills have brought him many art admirers and success both from British and American art collectors. He now enjoys an international reputation for painting and limited edition prints.

September: New print from Stephen Brown at Red Rag

Stephen Brown who is well known for his limited edition prints of the Devon countryside has released a beautiful new art print featuring the lovely River Dart in South Devon. The new art print ‘The Ferry Boat Inn, Dittisham’ has a lightness of touch so typical of Brown’s limited edition rints.
