Latest Limited Edition Prints - new print artist Caroline Bailey

The latest artist to be included in the Red Rag print portfolio is Caroline Bailey. She graduated from Manchester Polytechnic in 1976 and then taught until the 1980s, when she started to paint full-time.

Caroline Bailey limited edition prints are inspired by a love of land and sea. Although descriptive of the places she likes, Caroline's limited edition prints are not documentary but rather concerned with shape and colour. She expresses something of the feel and atmosphere of a place in her art prints and the painting. Caroline Bailey has had major solo exhibitions throughout the UK. She has also participated in Group exhibitions including the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours, the Royal Watercolour Society, the Royal Glasgow Institute and the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolours, to which she was elected a full member in 1998.

Latest Limited Edition Prints - new artist Rob Hain

Latest prints: Rob Hain was born in Dorset in 1952. He graduated with a degree in Fine Art from Loughborough College of Art in 1977 and later moved to the Scottish Borders where the landscape proved a rich source of imagery for his paintings and limited edition prints.

Rob Hain's paintings and art prints have been influenced by artists Lowry, Brueghel and Kandinsky, which reflect his interest in both urban environment and the kaleidoscopic range of colours of rural Scotland. Rob's fondness for the community reveals itself in the Lowry-inspired townscapes.Through this approach Rob portrays not only the towns and landscape but the life of the communities in a visual ethnographical account.

Rob Hain's paintings have been exhibited in the Royal Scottish Academy (RSA) and Society of Scottish Artists (SSA) annual exhibitions. And, his original art works and limited edition prints are in art galleries throughout England and Scotland.

Red Rag have announced that the limited edition prints of leading Welsh artist Ceri Auckland-Davies have been added to the portfolio of art prints. Ceri Auckland Davies was born in 1951 and studied art at Dyfed and Newport Colleges of Art. His limited edition prints capture the majesty of wild and lonely places, often by the water of the Welsh coastline. Ceri is especially known for his depiction of water, which appears to have genuine depth and transparency. The latest limited edition prints from Ceri Auckland Davies predominantly feature the landscapes and seacapes of his native Wales plus art prints of Venice.
