George Underwood was born in 1947. At the start of the 1970’s George started painting in oils. His contemporary paintings were influenced by the Viennese School – Ernst Fuchs, Rudolph Hausner and Eric Brauer plus contemporary visionaries like Breughel and Bosh. He was fascinated by their mix of fantasy and realism.
