Martin Llewellyn (born 1963 in Neath, South Wales) is a leading contemporary Welsh landscape artist, celebrated for his distinctive palette-knife oil paintings. A self-taught painter with a career spanning more than twenty-five years, Llewellyn first worked in watercolour before discovering that oils offered the expressive, tactile qualities that define his mature style.
